Tabletop Tuesday: Latke Lust

Tabletop Tuesday celebrates Hanukkah with these gold and white latke plates. Gold flatware and gold trimmed glassware complete this joyful place setting.

Have you eaten latkes? They are delicious deep-fried potato pancakes. Some people top them with applesauce. Some pair their latkes with various jellys.

Tabletop Tuesday: Gilded Age

Tabletop Tuesday features this white, black, gold and bronze patterned China plates stacked to create a unifying ensemble.

An oversized black plate is used as a charger and is accented by black glassware, gold silverware and a coordinating modern candle holder. This setting mixes shapes, patterns, colors and style periods.

Tabletop Tuesday: Bark + Pine + Feathers

Tabletop Tuesday celebrates the commencement of my favorite time of year. Autumn leaves, falling pine cones, pine tree needles and tree bark browns fill the earth.

For today’s inspiration, a brown stoneware setting is filled with pine cones on a table with earth and sand linen. The peacock feathers are meant to add color and celebrate their symbolism of integrity, nobility, protection and watchfulness.

We live in a time when living with integrity is critical. We are called to behave in a noble way in all things with all people. We are called to protect each other. It can all start by taking a seat at the table. #soulstylespace
