Tabletop Tuesday softens the mood with a romantic place setting. This peach, ivory and gold color story is a contemporary interpretation of a bygone era.

During the 1930’s, peach was a significant color for the fashionable and sophisticated. Art Deco was the style du jour, dancing was a gleeful production and high society dinner parties spared no expense.

The femininity, class and simplicity of this setting offset with two gladiolus in curved, delicate ivory vases pleasantly surprised me. It even seduced me with its chic aura. And isn’t that exactly how you want your romantic dinner to go?

Plan for the possibilities. Experiment with the subtle. Indulge in the delight.
